I became a Pilates instructor when I chose to leave my career at a financial institution to be with my two young children. It was a big change from sitting at a desk for 13 years but it has been the balance our family needs!
I was first introduced to the STOTT PILATES® method following the birth of my daughter which caused a broken tailbone. I appreciated the gentle and intelligent movement patterns and feeling of lengthening and strengthening. I also train in kung fu and jiu jitsu and maintain a very active fitness regimen. Pilates has helped to increase balance, mobility, body awareness, and functional movement patterns in all aspects of life from the day to day, as well as in sport.
Along with traditional pilates workouts, I love to fuse faster, dynamic exercises with the core pilates principles to get energy levels pumping!
